I n Civil Engineering we always need base rates for our estimates. In Maharashtra, these rates are provided by Maharashtra Public Works Department (MAHAPWD). The State Schedule of Rates (SSR) can be downloaded using the link below: SSR-2020-21 in pdf format It is always a big task to copy and paste the rates and description from pdf to Xls or other formats. MAHAPWD also provides the SSR in CSV format, which can be downloaded using the link below: e SSR in csv format from mahapwd.com The CSV file provided works fine with excel except some cells get merged automatically. The CSV file and be edited and saved in excel format with minor efforts. But the pdf and CSV files do have some flaws The data format in the pdf or CSV files does not provide readability to the user.
